Help Build NCFA UK’s Learning Resources
The NCFA UK Vice President of Resources leads the development and organisation of educational and professional resources across the National Cyber & Forensics Alliance UK Chapter.
This is an opportunity to help create study materials, technical content and learning resources while gaining valuable leadership and project management experience as part of the NCFA UK Chapter Leadership Team.
About the Role
The Vice President of Resources leads the planning and coordination of educational resource development across the UK chapter, ensuring that members have access to high-quality learning materials and professional guidance.
Working closely with the President, other Vice Presidents, Senior Regional Ambassadors and Ambassadors, you will coordinate contributors, oversee resource development and help ensure projects move efficiently from initial idea through to publication.
This is not a title-only position.
You are not expected to be an expert in every area of cyber security. Instead, your role is to identify valuable topics, coordinate contributors, maintain quality standards and ensure resources are completed and published.
This role requires consistent organisation, communication and follow-up throughout the elected term, as many resource projects develop over longer periods.

Equivalent experience gained through university societies, volunteer organisations or professional environments will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As NCFA UK Vice President of Resources you will:
- Develop a plan for NCFA UK resource creation.
- Identify gaps in the resources available to members.
- Coordinate writers, reviewers and technical contributors.
- Manage resources from the initial idea through to publication.
- Support the development of structured cyber security learning pathways.
- Review resources for clarity, accuracy and usefulness.
- Ensure technical claims are supported by appropriate evidence.
- Maintain templates and consistent quality standards.
- Keep published materials organised and reasonably up to date.
- Work with the Vice President of Events to turn talks and workshops into reusable resources.
- Work with the Vice President of Social Media to promote new materials.
- Encourage students, alumni and professionals to contribute their knowledge.
- Ensure contributors receive appropriate recognition.
- Provide regular progress updates to the President and wider leadership team.

Desirable Experience
The following experience is advantageous but not essential:
- Technical writing or research experience.
- Experience within the NCFA Technical or Talks pathways.
- Experience producing study notes, guides or workshop materials.
- Familiarity with referencing and evidence-based writing.
- Experience using documentation or content management platforms.
- Understanding of accessibility within educational materials.
- Knowledge across several areas of cyber security or digital forensics.
