The NCFA UK Vice President of Social Media leads the public communications and social media activity of the National Cyber & Forensics Alliance UK Chapter.
This is an opportunity to promote events, opportunities and member achievements while gaining valuable leadership and communications experience as part of the NCFA UK Chapter Leadership Team.
About the Role
The Vice President of Social Media leads the planning and delivery of communications across the UK chapter, ensuring that events, opportunities, resources and organisational updates are communicated clearly and consistently.
Working closely with the President, other Vice Presidents, Senior Regional Ambassadors and Ambassadors, you will coordinate content creation, maintain a structured publishing schedule and help ensure the NCFA maintains a professional and engaging public presence.
This is not a title-only position.
You are not expected to create every piece of content yourself. Instead, your role is to coordinate contributors, gather information from across the organisation, maintain quality standards and ensure important communications are published on time.
This role requires regular involvement throughout the elected term, with consistent weekly responsibility for planning, reviewing and publishing content.

Key Responsibilities
As NCFA UK Vice President of Social Media you will:
- Develop and maintain a realistic social media content calendar.
- Coordinate Social Media Ambassadors and content contributors.
- Promote events, resources, opportunities and NCFA projects.
- Highlight member, Ambassador and university society achievements.
- Create or commission written, graphic and video content.
- Review content before publication.
- Maintain a consistent and professional NCFA voice.
- Work with other Vice Presidents to support their announcements and campaigns.
- Gather accurate information before publishing updates.
- Respond appropriately to public messages and enquiries.
- Monitor engagement and identify which content performs well.
- Maintain an organised collection of media assets and templates.
- Ensure content is inclusive, accessible and suitable for a professional organisation.
- Provide regular updates to the President and wider leadership team.

Desirable Experience
The following experience is advantageous but not essential:
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe products or similar creative tools.
- Graphic design, photography or video editing skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Discord and other relevant platforms.
- Experience interpreting platform analytics.
- Previous involvement in society or event promotion.
- Understanding of accessibility within digital content.
